At Stockbox it’s our highest priority to listen to our neighbors. That’s how we improve on our service, customize our product selection, how we make choices about building new stores, and much more.

FAQ: What happens after I make an item request?

A: We pass your request on to our inventory team, and they contact the supplier to check for availability and order the product. The process usually takes 1-3 weeks.

If you’ve ever made a request for an item that we don’t yet have on shelves at Stockbox, thank you! We appreciate your input! By letting us know which products you’d like to see at our store, you’re participating in an important part of Stockbox culture. By listening to our neighbors in this way, we’ve been able to make handfuls of great products available to the neighborhood, like Ellenos yogurt, your favorite gummy bears, Aardvark hot sauce, and many more…

If you’ve never made a request for us to stock a favorite item of yours in our store, don’t be shy! There are a number of ways for you to communicate your request to us. You can:

  • Ask one of our staff next time you visit our First Hill location. They’ll add it to our request board at the front of the store.
  • Call us at (206) 829-9940 . We’d be happy to chat with you about our product selection.
  • Contact us on our website. There’s a handy form you can fill out right here.

Ask about a new product you’re excited about, an item you haven’t seen in our store for a while, or something you’d like to buy by the case. Especially since the holidays are coming up soon, we want to stock up on all the essentials so we can be good neighbors! We’ll make sure the right inventory specialist at our store receives your request, whether you’re inquiring about produce, grocery, beverages or body care.

The inventory specialist will contact our suppliers to see if the product is available for delivery to our store. Sometimes products become discontinued by the company that produces them, and sometimes they are no longer carried by our distributors. Since almost all of our products arrive at our store via local suppliers and distributors, we share great relationships with them and keep up to date with any changes in product availability.

Our inventory staff are available daily to personally answer your questions. If we don’t have the answer right away, we’ll take your contact information to keep you updated when the next order arrives.
